Hot seating
This half term our class novel has been 'The Iron Man'. The children are really enjoying this book and it has inspired them to do some creative writing. As part of our English lesson, the children participated in some 'Hot seating' where the children went in role as Hogarth. The children worked in partners and thought of some thoughtful questions to ask Hogarth about how he felt when he saw the Iron Man. Following on from this session the children then wrote a fantastic dialogue between Hogarth and the Iron Man
