Persuasive Letter Writing
As part of our persuasive and formal writing unit, we looked at the features of formal writing. Having identified the features of a range of formal letters (formal language, subjunctive mood, conjunctive adverbs, formal introduction and closure), we then planned and wrote our own formal, persuasive letters to Mrs Allan persuading her to adjust the rules about the children at Brighton Avenue Primary School.
