This term the children have been learning about materials. This week they were faced with a question. Which type of paper was the most absorbent? The children had to measure and record their result before using them to answer the question.
This week the children had a visit from the school nurse. She talked about the importance of washing our hands and keeping clean. The children were very interested to learn all about how germs are spread and are even more keen to stop them spreading!
The children have been learning the importance of eating a balanced diet. By using the food wheel, the children could easily see what was good to eat and what should be kept as a special treat.
