The Great Fire of Gateshead and Newcastle

Richard, That History, Bloke, came to visit Year 2 and told us all about the Great Fire of Gateshead.  He brought in lots of objects from 1854 and we were all able to touch and guess how they were used.  We talked about the different people that lived on the Quayside.

A few days later, we met Richard outside St Mary's Visitor Centre.  He took us on a journey around the quayside and told us all about the Great Fire.
