Outdoor Learning

The children received a special letter from Santa Claus asking them for help.  His elves were going to visit our school but needed a suitable house to sleep in.  We discussed what the houses may need and what they would look like before searching and collecting materials in the school grounds.  Building the houses required great team work and the children all met the deadline.  We are waiting for feedback from the elves to tell us if our houses were built to a high standard. 

What better way to find inspiration than from nature!

Year 2W were struggling to find ideas for a print so they decided to enter the great outdoors and look for inspiration in the world around them.
