Relief Printing

We went into the Forest School area to explore the different shapes and sizes of the leaves. We then picked our favourite leaf to take back into the classroom to aid us in our printing.

Carefully we drew around our leaves onto a piece of cardboard, thinking about the veins of the leaf too. Using glue, we stuck string to the outline of our leaf and then cut smaller pieces to use as the veins.

Once dried, we painted our leaf and printed different patterns onto paper. We had great fun exploring the different patterns we could make.
