Division

Spring 2

This week the children have been expanding their division knowledge and skills, they began the week by recapping their methods for division and then went on to solving some complex word problems. The children were really confident using their methods and tried so hard!

Methods

This week the children have been exploring different division methods. The children began by using the informal method alongside mental calculation strategies. Following on from this some children began using the short division method. Division can be very tricky but the children were so determined to crack it!
