Forest School

In Forest School we have been looking at different creatures and living things around our school grounds. We have been lucky enough  to have a lady from the RSPB in our class to talk about different animals and other living things. The children really enjoyed exploring around the school grounds and finding out about different habitats where creatures live.

When we came into school this morning there was lots and lots of snow! We wrapped up extra warm and went outside to play! We had so much fun building snowmen, throwing snowballs and making snow angels with our friends! We even threw some at our teachers!

The children went outside to create areas for the fairies to live in, they did this with help from the class fairy, Sophie Sparkle. They used natural materials in order to create a hospital, park and school. Have a look at what we made...
The year 1 children had their own forest school adventure to learn all about Halloween. The children went round the spooky fire pit and roasted tasty, sticky marshmallows. However, Mrs Jones wasn't very good and burnt some of them! They then worked in groups to create their own broomsticks. They sprinkled them with magic dust and they had a chance to test them out! Have a look at how much fun they had in the pictures below.
