Remembrance 2023

This year, Year 6T and Year 3W were invited to Saltwell Park to help the British Legion plant the Field of Remembrance. They were told about the history of the poppy and also why we remember the soldiers who gave their lives all wars.

This inspired the children to plant their own Field of Remembrance at school. Each child made their own poppy and stuck it in the ground before a two minutes silence was observed.
