Kingsmeadow have posted some activities on our website for your Year 6 students to complete prior to them joining us in September. They can be found at: https://www.kingsmeadow.org.uk/year-6-transition
Once on the site if you click the button 'click here to view Transition Tasks' it will automatically move you down the page. Once it has done that if you scroll up slightly you will see the button to click on in order to download the tasks. The students can email them back to us on transition@kingsmeadow.org.uk Once the students have sent them back to us, we can put them into folders for their tutors to view.
Additionally on the main page of the https://www.kingsmeadow.org.uk/year-6-transition link, at the very bottom of the page there is a slide show highlighting some of the key members staff the students need to be aware of, including the Year 7 Tutor team.
Update from Kingsmeadow - 11.05.20 - PLEASE READ
We have received a request from Kingsmeadow School for all parents of Year 6 pupils who are due to start at Kingsmeadow in September to visit the following website:

Whilst on the page, parents need to complete the online form with up-to-date contact details. This is so Kingsmeadow can get in contact with you directly in the future. Please complete it as soon as you possibly can.
Update from Kingsmeadow 30.04.20
Kingsmeadow will be creating a tab on the Kingsmeadow school website (see link above) with all of the instructions parents need for transition. There will be a form parents are required to fill in which gives us up to date contact information. This will then allow Kingsmeadow to make contact when they need to. Also on the Kingsmeadow website will be all of the vital information that parents/children will need to know regarding school uniform, buses, lunch etc.
Kingsmeadow also discussed that when possible, they will create some time (at this stage we are not sure how much) where the new year 7's will have some time in the school on their own.

School Uniform

Please find below information regarding orders for school uniform from our supplier Michael Sehgal, including information on how to order for the 2020/21 term.
1. Please order all school uniforms online this year.
Please note that our store is closed and school uniform evenings are suspended in line with Government guidance. School uniforms may only be ordered online via our website, this year, at www.michaelsehgal.co.uk. Orders will be dispatched as soon as we are able to re-open our warehouse, safely.
2. Order now, especially for new starters’ uniforms.
We predict a surge in demand online so we strongly advise all parents to order uniform as soon as possible and in particular, the uniforms for new year 7 student should be ordered right away. Please do not wait for July or August.
3. Stock availability.
As a result of our forward planning, uniform stocks will be available in time for back to school, but if any sizes run out, they are likely to take longer to replenish as a result of ongoing supply chain disruption, so our advice is to get in early to avoid shortages.
4. Our customer support team is here to help.
Please contact our customer support team with any queries you may have. Sizing guides are available online and there are no time limits for exchanges. 5. We will keep you informed.
At every stage, including ordering, processing and dispatch you will receive notifications from us to advise you of the status of your order. If items are to be personalised / unavailable, we will provide you with an estimated timescale.
