Summer 2 - The Great Fire of Gateshead and Newcastle

We started our new module on The Great Fire of Gateshead and Newcastle and how exciting it was!  We had That History Bloke come in and tell us LOADS about it.  We even got to handle objects from the past and compare life on the Quayside now to 1854.  Do you know anything about the fire?
