Botanical Gardens
We visited the art gallery and looked and sketched a range of portraits. We learnt all about textiles and different materials. We looked at cotton plants and felt a silk cocoon.After that we made a felt portrait using colours in the style of Picasso's Weeping Woman.

On Thursday 20th September we visited Beamish Museum. We visited the school and the mine and went into the town on a tram. We visited the sweet shop and got to try some of the yummy sweets. We had such a fun day!
