As a special treat, we had an extra visit from Mr. Parkin this week.  He brought us some ukuleles and even some boomwhackers.  We had great fun and started to play Frere Jacques.

This half term we are lucky enough to have Mr. Parkin again.  He's been showing us how to use Garage Band to compose our own songs.  Come back to our what our final pieces sound like!

We love doing music in Year 2 and we have been thinking a lot about finding the pulse and rhythm in different songs.  To help us find and show it, we use different parts of our bodies to tap it out.  Do you like our moves?
