Addition
Bar Modelling
The children have been looking at different addition methods, the focus this week was bar modelling. This method was one that the particularly enjoyed using!
During this week, we have been working hard using the expanded and compact method to solve addition problems. The children then had to apply this method to had to a range of word and reasoning problems. Although some children found it difficult, they never gave up!
