Eden Camp

To introduce  this term's theme - The Battle of Britain, Year 5 recently took a very long journey to visit Eden Camp, which is in Malton North Yorkshire. Eden Camp was a prisoner of war camp during the WWII and has been transformed into an amazing museum all about the war. 

We learnt so much, especially about the Blitz and what it was like for the people who stayed at home during the war. The class say that it was well worth the early morning and long journey to get there!
