Outdoor learning

Forest School

The children have enjoyed some outdoor learning during this half term. One of their learning opportunities was based on investigating outdoors. The children used some magnifying glasses and some mini hula hoops to search for living things. They placed the hoops in different places outside to see what they could see. Some of the children were able to spot some mini beasts, it was all very exciting!

RSPB

We were very lucky to have a visit from the RSPB! They bought lots of different equipment with them so that we could explore the habitats of different creatures within our school grounds. We grouped up to explore different areas and living things. We looked at flowers, mini-beasts, birds and trees using magnifying glasses and binoculars.
