Multi-Cultural Week

We had such a great time for multi-cultural week and were lucky enough to have different parents come in and tell us all about their cultures.  We got to dance, look at jewellery and learn about different weddings.  Take a look at some of the great things we did.

Cloud Singh

In R.E. we have been learning all about the Sikh religion and so we had a special visitor to come and tell us all about what it was like to be a Sikh.  We had lots of questions but luckily he was able answer them all.

Tynemouth

We had such a great time on our trip to Tynemouth and were lucky enough to have fantastic weather.  Our teachers made us work pretty hard but then we were able to have ICE CREAM! How delicious it was!

If U Care Share

This week, Matthew from If U Care Share came in to do a workshop with us.  We thought all about the different feelings we have, what makes us happy and how to help somebody we think might be sad.  

African Drumming

As part of our Geography we are learning about Africa and African culture.  We were visited by Gem Arts and given the opportunity to play different African drums. 

Shildon Railway Museum

To help us learn about George Stephenson ans his incredibly inventions, we took a trip to Shildon Railway Museum.  We got to learn lots of interesting facts about him, act out the Locomotion's first journey and even used our cutting skills to create our very own Locomotion.  Have you visited Shildon before?
