Special events
Bill had all of the children laughing this week with his reading from 'Captain Underpants'
We have had a special visitor in school who played rock music!! The children had a great time listening to his songs and joining in
We loved dressing up as Irish dancers for our whole school dance festival.
We painted our own African masks for our art gallery. We had so much fun looking at all of amazing work.
We had so much fun on our attendance trip! We dressed up and went on the party bus.

We had a visit from the book bus today! We had lots of fun choosing new books to buy.
We had so much fun on World Book Day. We dressed up as book characters and read our books. We then worked as a class to design our on classroom door all around the book,' Green eggs and ham'

On Friday we had our parents morning. In year 1 we were so lucky to have so many parents and grandparents coming in to help. We had such a fun morning making our castles.
In Golden Time we have been getting messy and creative to improve our fine motor skills. We had so much fun!
We are so proud of Bill. He came 2nd in Brighton's got talent ! Well done !
We had lots of fun at our Christmas party. We met Santa and sang some songs !

We had so much fun celebrating Children In Need!
This week was friendship week. To celebrate this we had odd sock day on Monday. When then created our own friendship potion to describe how we can all be a good friend.
As part of the INTO film festival, the children went to watch the film Ferdinand. It was about a bull who didn't want to fight! The children loved watching the film while eating their tasty sweets.
