Hot Air Balloons

This term the children made some hot air balloons in Art and DT. They used papier mache to make the balloons which involved using newspaper that had been torn into pieces and PVA glue to stick the paper onto a balloon. It was very messy! Once the layers of paper had dried, the children painted their designs onto their balloons and attached a cup to look like the basket. We wonder where these balloons will take us on our adventures!
