Intonation

This half term, Year 3/4B are lucky enough to have Mr Parkin come and work with us again. Following on from the last music lessons we had with him, the children continued to focus on intonation but used Mr Parkin's special IPads to play around with pitch and sound. The children used a programme to compose their own tune, we had some fantastic sounds!

Year 3/4B enjoyed a visit from Mr Parkin, our music specialist, who worked with us to improve our intonation skills. We learnt about the accuracy of the pitch when we were playing with a range of musical instruments. Following on from this, we began to write our own music and then used a selection of instruments to compose a short song.
