This year, the children have been showing their support for Remembrance Day by making window displays of their poppy creations. Some children have been revisiting and some learning for the first time about the history of the poppy, the reasons we have different coloured poppies and also why we remember the soldiers who have given their lives in wars.
Our KS1 children had the chance to walk past the beautiful window displays on the way to join KS2 for our whole school two minutes silence on Monday 11th November where we joined together as a whole school to pay our respects. The children were amazing, we are extremely proud of them.
