On Wednesday 1st May, we visited the Centre for Life to take part in a workshop all about circuits and conductors. We got the opportunity to make our own working circuits to light a bulb and even added a switch to switch it on and off. We also took part in an activity where we had to identify the problems with the faulty circuits. Some were missing a battery, or a wire, and others were connected to the insulation.
After our workshop, we got the chance to visit the planetarium and find out more about the moon. There was also a giant replica of the moon which we got to look at! It was fascinating!
After lunch, we explored the Curiosity Zone where we completed a variety of challenges and activities. It was lots of fun!
