This week in Maths the children have been able to find the perimeter of different shapes. This can be a tricky concept for some children so we began the lesson with a practical activity which allowed the children to visualise each step they needed to carry out in order to find the perimeter. They then started by measuring each side of the shape and then added all the measurements together to find the perimeter. Some children then went on to find the area of different shapes as well. The children were amazing at this! Well done Year 3/4!
