La Tasca Visit

To complete Pablo's quest, Year 2 were treated to a special meal at La Tasca in Durham.  The children were shocked when they arrived and discovered that Pablo himself was there!  How amazing was that!  Pablo demonstrated how to make his world famous paella which included all the ingredients that we collected on our journey around Spain.  Paella wasn't the only thing on the menu as the children were able to sample other delicious food which included meatballs, patatas bravas and manchego cheese.   The best part, however, was the warm churros and melted chocolate for pud.  Yum, yum!!
