Dear Parents/Carers

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and your child to Brighton Avenue Primary School.

I know for many of you, this is a huge step, for you and for them. Please be assured, your children are in very safe hands with us and we are very excited to begin this journey and build a long lasting partnership with you.

On Friday 27th June, there will be a meeting for parents. From 9am, you can meet myself and the Reception team. We will be providing you with a Reception prospectus, uniform order lists, information about the EYFS curriculum and transition information for September. We will then offer refreshments in our community room, which will give you an opportunity to talk with the staff more informally and complete the essential paperwork required for your child starting.  

There will also be an opportunity to order new uniform and potentially get your child a free cardigan/sweatshirt.

Monday 7th July at 9.15-11:15am and Friday 11th July at 1-3pm will be transition opportunities in school for your child. Here, they will have an opportunity to meet their new teachers and teaching assistants, whilst familiarising themselves with our learning environment. All children must be collected on time from the Reception classroom doors.
